2021 was quite the year for Eleventh Dream Day, who released the surprise album “Since Grazed” digitally in April and then as a gatefold double LP come August.

Before the calendar closed EDD would surprise once again as the unannounced opening act of Yo La Tengo’s eighth and final Hanukkah show of their annual run, then joining YLT on-stage for the majority of their set.

As the calendar flipped, “Since Grazed” was still collecting end-of year honors including All The Young Punks’ Album of the Year recognition, appearances on Greg Kot from Sound Opinion’s Top 10 and the It’s Time to Play B-Sides Top 20 Albums of 2021, a #30 showing on Sun 13’s Top 50 for 2021, #16 in Magnet Magazine’s Best Albums of 2021, #3 status in both Concrete Islands’ Albums of the Year 2021 and Rosy Overdrive’s Top 100 Albums of 2021 plus mentions by Jeff Tweedy (“Some 2021 Albums I Loved”) and Wilco (“Recommends 2021”) for good measure.

In his “29 of My Favorite Songs From 2021” round-up, Brady Carlson described the band’s “Cracks In My Smile” by beautifully writing “It’s as quiet as a home recording, and as grand as a symphony.”

By your demand, a gatefold compact disc pressing of “Since Grazed” has been manufactured and is available in stores WORLDWIDE on Friday, January 7th.

We’ve already sold out of our copies so please ask your local record shop to order a CD from Redeye.

We’re down to just 5x double LPs of “Since Grazed” at the CMO HQ too, but Redeye can also provide stores with those as well.

Thanks for a great year and we’re excited about what’s in store for 2022!
