On September 19, 2011 Comedy Minus One will make two albums by the excellent Washington, DC outfit Edsel available digitally for the first time.

Long out of print, these records have both been remastered by Joe Lambert at JLM Sound and will be accessible through all of your favorite digital providers.

In celebration of this event we’ve asked the members of Edsel to write up a pair of lengthy posts to provide you with more information on each release, from the history of both recordings to the stories behind some of these specific songs. Click away to learn more!

cmo018 – Detroit Folly

Hopefully these new CMO titles will introduce one of the 1990s best bands to a new audience.

  2. Will “Techniques Of Speed Hypnosis” also be reissued? Any chance of any of these records making their way to vinyl in the future for the first time?

  3. There will be more Edsel remastered and reissued down the line. Look for an announcement soon, I hope.

Vinyl is unlikely given the expense and lack of demand but never say never!
