TV Colours is a recording project born and realised in a suburban bedroom in Canberra, Australia.
Over a period of six years, the album Purple Skies, Toxic River was gradually recorded and refined, in the process moving from cassette four-track to computer and incorporating an increasing interest in sound design and field recording.
As a four-piece band, TV Colours has toured Europe and Australia. Purple Skies, Toxic River saw a 2013 release in Europe by XVIII Records and in Australia through Dream Damage. The album was reissued for the United States in 2015 by Comedy Minus One.
A second album is currently in the early stages of production.
